That dude hates LeBron odeee lol he was in a thread hating on Bronny
Passing on the supermax, playing with Jrue in his prime, Zion for the rest of your career and cap space for an extra max free agent this summer/sign a ton of other good pieces to go play with LeBron in his last few years before retirement and whatever is left on the roster after the trade (probably have the next three years of draft picks gone too) on the current most dysfunctional franchise in the league makes zero basketball or business sense.
So whoever is making that decision, Rich Paul or AD, is an idiot.
And in what world would the Pelicans sign a max fa?
Y’all are really grasping at straws by trying to put him on any team outside of LA
If AD came out today and said I’m staying in New Orleans I don’t see why plenty of free agents wouldn’t love to play with Jrue, Zion and AD.
Your Laker hate is crazy lol
First you wanted AD in the same division and conference as your team
Now you want the Pelicans to sign one of the two major impending free agents from your team...
Just so AD isn’t in LA
If Peiicans can use the money they would've paid Randle to get them spacing for Zion and AD then it's lit. I think it'd be worth it to ad to finish out his contract to see what happens. And then if it doesn't work out then well, he can always sign with Bron after.
I don't see why rush to be an aging Lebron's sidekick on a squad that's gutted because they traded all their guys to acquire you lol
Alllll of this.
They don’t even need to sign a max free agent. There’s so many quality role players out there this summer they could sign with that 25+ mill in cap space they’ll have around AD, Zion and Jrue.
I hope Griffin is ballsy enough to say **** AD’s trade demands.
It’s not about being ballsy.
It’s about being smart.
He’s not gunna let leave Unibrow leave for nothing next summer. That would be monumentaly stupid.
Why would you want to keep a malcontent around your new franchise player? He said he wants out...ship his *** out and start the new regime.
I’m saying. You got a golden opportunity to kickstart your rebuild.
You wanna waste it for what? To make a run for the playoffs this year and then watch him bounce next summer?
I hope Griff is ballsy enough to trade AD for DeRozan and Jakob poetl. That would be a real boss move
If Griffin ship AD to the Lakers, he need to get all of the Lakers best players (minus Bron) and that 4 pick lmao
KAT gotta demand a trade next. Let’s get these bigs great bigs some rings
What are the chances that grizzlies pick RJ Barrett and not Ja Morant?
Givony tweeted out they want JA
1) If L.A was to trade for AD i highly doubtthey are offering all of their young pieces, but if they were to trade Zo/Ingram/Kuz they wpould still have roughly 20-25 million dollars to spend in FA this summer
2) AD has made it clear s day that he doesn't want to play for the organization anymore the prospect of Zion isn't gonna change that at all
So what's going to prevent AD from going to LA next summer? A trade to the Knicks to play with KD and Mr Flat Earf
Dude took a fast track to mediocrity & no flexibility all to not trade with the Lakers. Emotions over logic you hate to see it.
Zo Ingram that 4 pick would be a nice return for AD
The Lakers spending their money this summer, I get AD is with Klutch and all but i don't think Your gonna sell Bron on bringing back the same team next year with a bunch of different one year deals, especially with this pick lined up. him & management are gonna be looking to bring in another AS this summer.
No cap space
Gotcha. All BS aside, if AD is dead set on playing for them next year regardless, then dont do the deal BUT it could be PG all over again
I disagree...you gotta do the deal if it’s there based off the reason you mentioned. A lot can change it a year and you can’t just assume he’s gonna sign
Lakers won't have cap even if they spend all their money on one year deals this summer
