Whats the best TV to buy. PLASMA, LCD, LED?  I have about 1400 to spend and am trying to get above 50". Any suggestions or comments let me know. Hoping to buy one tomorrow.

I would not suggest buying an LCD if you are a sports fan....it might just be my low refresh rate (60) but the Bravia is not as nice as my uncles Samsung plasma or my old Samsung DLP.

Yeah, I personally like the quality of the picture of Plasma tvs. Only reason i'm hesitant about buying a Plasma for is ive heard people say the picture will burn on the screen.

LCD Samsung
LED if you can afford it... but I have a 52" and have had it for just over a year... I LOVE IT

My 42" Samsung LCD just crapped out on me.. Won't turn on and makes clicking noises like if it wants to turn on.. and apparently im not the only one with the problem.

Samsung. Bought it because I thought they were good tv's.   Supposedly its a known $#*% up and Samsung knows about it but arent doing anything about it.     Last time I buy a Samsung.

My 26" Insignia (which cost me about $400) is working fine.

WORD!
My aunt bought a 54 inch samsung LCD tv when it came out  (i think it was 54 or somehting along those lines)

but my cousin read samsung cheaped out on its parts

I dont think I will buy a samsung anymore because these problems are COMMON

we eventually fixed it, but it seems it happened to everyone right after the warranty expired

For reals.. that sucks too cus I always thought Samsungs were good.. I think I paid like $1300 or $1400 for the tv and my warranty expired like a month or two ago.

Plasma. You won't burn it.

I've had mine for a while now and I only watch ESPN, play MW2, or Blus...
