Bikes pretty much stay the same from year to year IMO. 0-60 is between 2.5-5 seconds for pretty much every sports bike. Just buy a used one from the early 00s.

10 K is MSRP, which you never actually pay when it comes to bikes. You can for sure get a brand new '08 for 7500 or an '09 for 8500. This is in NewYork by the way, so I imagine you can possibly get it for cheaper elsewhere. I know this because I'm looking into buying one myself and have been debatingwhether to go used or new for about three weeks.
