New STAT's up on Finishline.com

Just saw these in store today and to my surprise they're patent leather. The don't look as bulky as the Stat 1's but there's something missing about them. I really like the strap on the 1's so maybe that's it. They I love shoes with a contrasting toe so these are an eventual must get, but 150 is a little much. Just hope they hit swoosh and sooner than the 1's dropped.

A definite improvement over the 1st. I agree with the others that saw some CB influences.

Ok... These are officially Hell Rell status (hardest out!). The patent leather toe is definitely the decision maker. Now if only these had a purple tinted ice sole.

And I think it's safe to say Amare is a fan of 1990's basketball shoes. The design has a lot 90's influence in it (some cb '94, a twist of XI's, and a little Air Max Uptempo I & III), which is always a good thing.

I'll definitely pick these up for under retail.

For some reason, I went from not liking them at all to feelin them. I really couldn't tell you why.

Maybe the different real life angles. The patent just seems to be the right "height" up the midsole to make the shoes really unique.

 

Can anybody tell me what happened to the gum-bottom STATs from last year? They were NEVER released. I assume they were cancelled, but does anyone know why?

And if possible, please post a pic of them. I know you got the original pics from last year Zodogg.
