you said something dumb. had to be said sorry bud

Trade looked worse week to week :smh:

Hope a full offseason can kickstart things for him there next season but they still badly need help at the skill positions.

Trading down for help might be the way to go for them.

The Bears minus whale run it back with Fields and try to build around him. The problem isn’t Justin Fields. It’s the Chicago Bears. It’s been the Chicago Bears for as long as I’ve been watching football. They’ll have long stretches of mediocrity with constant poor qb play. A random good season out of nowhere where they look good and fail to properly build off that before going back to mediocrity and repeating the cycle.

If they draft a qb, they’re just going to ruin that qb and be right back where they started in 2-3 years.

It's why bad teams stay bad. Bears should trade back and try to get as many draft picks as possible. Especially after trading a 2nd for Claypool. That alone is a fireable offense.

Wait, the Bears are a bad franchise?

Imma give push back on that. The Bears may not be perennial contenders, but they a definitely a solid franchise.

In the past 13 seasons (starting in 2010), the Bears have been .500 or better 7 of those 13 seasons. Take the 2 losing seasons Fields has been QB, they have 7 of the past 11 seasons with success.
