Nike Air Jordan 1 "Chicago" - May 30, 2015. (LEGIT CHECK IN 1st POST)

Never been a fan of the chicago's. The color blocking was always too safe. These will be so hyped either way that I would have no choice but to stay away from them.

Black toes > Chicago's

 

Been waiting for the Chicago's to drop to complete my collection of 1's. I hope the info is accurate. 2015 looks to be pretty interesting in terms of releases.

 

I wear my 2013s way too much I will def get these

 

JB trolling the game once again......oh the irony of it all, they dropped these 1's less than 2 years ago right before they dropped the Nike Air versions of the other og colorways...should've made the Chicago's a Nike Air AJ 1 as well...

more money for JB I guess...smh

 

Chicago's > black toes for me. These were the shoes I always associated with his professional start and they were the first Retro I bought in 94. Pumped!

 

Hope this will be a massive GR. Or maybe, a semi-GR. Hoping it's not as limited as those Breds 

I got a feeling they're gonna release this on a historic date that's linked to Mike's past accomplishments while wearing these 

 

looking back at all the 2013's pairs...

no chance these will be a GR unless JB grew a heart.

like, just 1 post just to inform, and then leave it alone after, then open it up again 2 weeks before release date

 

Add the XVII and DUBZERO to the retro list as well for 2015. they are coming

 

A Dub zero retro is long overdue. Joints are kinda underrated. That black/gold pair will be had.

If JB really wants some money, release the old fakes with spongebob on them

 

Then they'll call it super limited 

 

Those take me back to a simple time when Jordan's were an after thought and fakes weren't called GM they were called factory variants....I'd line up for em. Srs.

 

I wanna go to that time. Really.

Sometimes I just wish that I was born earlier than '96, so that I would experience the feeling of just walking into a store and buying a pair without lines, hypebeasts and resellers. Those people are the reasons why it's difficult for a kid like me to be in this hobby/lifestyle/whatever you call it. 

With these factors roaming around, I might even look for a new hobby/

 

It was around the 20th anniversary. I remember it like it was yesterday. Everyone was rocking either the white/black red dub zeros or the white/red steel grey 10's. Man time flies

 

these will probably be on par with what they did with the white cement 3.....they released the 2011 pairs, then dropped em' 2 years later with Nike Air labeling in limited fashion.


Looks to be the same type of methodology used. So I am already anticipating next years drop to be as limited as the 88 retros were in 2013.

 

JB should Keep em limited or don't even release them on the strength of everyone sleeping on the often slandered 2013 version and AJKOs. There has been 2 chances to get "nostalgic" with the colorway and look since 2013. How can you turn you nose at Chicago 1s with a jumpman but be beasting and ready to spend a grand on the Jeters? I feel like only the real old heads (not even me at 32) who been rocking with Nike for at least 25 years should identify with having Nike Air on the tongue. Anthracite8s made a great point about this artificial gratification by dudes who ain't even see Jordan play driving up prices on 1s. Easy pass. I'm good with my jump man on tongue and stiff leather. I was on the Air Jordan 1 wave before the royals.....released in 2001.

 

If they are indeed 160 I would say there is a big chance these could be a GR. Think about it.... JB may have been testing the waters with the $140 releases. and testing it even further with the 160 jeters. now that they see there is willing buyers at these prices and even much higher in the resale  market why wouldn't they want to sell a boat load? They have GOT to be profiting the most on this shoe. It seems silly from a business point of view to continue to limit them

 

I sometimes regret skipping the chi KOs just bought to much and had to pass

 

How will these be easy if they are limited? These are pretty much the most known 1. People gonna beast for these especially since all the 1s dropping prior

 

2013s were just disrespectful to the Air Jordan 1 legacy. If done close enough to the OG, these will be had. Perhaps even 2 pairs. Then I will lay my ole' girl '94s to rest.

Yes finally! no 94s have been on ebay...regret selling my pair....

 

so im still dabating weather to rock my 94 pair or what should i do? VVVVNDS pair size 7.5. little small on me, how much can these go tho.
