Nike Air Jordan 1 "Chicago" - May 30, 2015. (LEGIT CHECK IN 1st POST)

Finally and remastered I assume. The previous retro was garbo.

 

Nike makes ridiculous amounts of money as it is now and with the way the culture is now, they can continue to milk the cow for all its worth, and give us inferior quality and craftsmanship. Just because they cut into resellers profits doesn't make it any better to the consumer looking to pay retail. They still limit production numbers...still come up with gimmicky nicknames for every shoe..and they still want resellers around because they are the litmus test to see how much people are willing to pay for the downgraded products they put out. So your perspective doesn't exactly negate the fact that Nike is always incrementally finding excuses to get an extra dollar out of us.

 

Really hope JB has a heart and make these a GR.

If these really do release next year these are an automatic cop. I need to expand my Jordan 1 collection with the Nike Air on it.

I passed on the 2013 pair for these. There are a few jumpman pairs I rock but the lack of a stupid giant jumpman on the back could save a bunch of otherwise weak colorways. DGAF I said it.

 

are you saying the Chicago 1s are otherwise a weak colorway unless they don't have a jumpman? not saying you're right or wrong but I wasn't sure what you were trying to say.

 

Chicago's = dope colorway, Jumpman or NA. 

 

That is not close to what I said. Its two ideas

1: Chicago 1s were passed on for a NA pair
2: There are some weak colorways that would be way better without that large *** distracting jumpman on the heel.

 

If true can't wait...

 

Even though I love my Chicago's, the combination of the leather tongue and plastic-like leather on the toebox made it really uncomfortable.

 

unpopular opinion: out of all the original CWs I probably like the Cicagos the least. I respect it for the history, but I guess I will pass on these even with NA treatment. Glad for you guys that they´ll drop them the right way though.

honestly the 2013 chicagos were not as good 

the pleather it was not a good release but i knew they were saving them for 2014-or 2015 back then 

i wore mine a few times then sold em for 75 bucks 

this is a double or even triple up if possible.
