Every last word of this applies to me as well. I seriously couldn't even wear the 2012 pair four times before the disappointment of seeing my grails like that hit me and I no-looked them to one of my dormmates.

They definitely have my attention with this one.

I feel like a lot of these 2016 release threads are going to more than run their course before we even reach the release date though.

I don't know how I'm going to get these but I do know that I need two pairs.

 

I just hope JB is smart and makes these a GR. I was really surprised/hurt they made the OG Chicago 1s limited this year and almost all other releases massed produced GR releases. I hope they will want to cash out but you know if its a NA retro they will want to make it limited and $240.

Just raise the price to whatever and make it a GR like the Columbia 4s. They won't sit regardless. I'll buy too pears

 

After I just told my wife I'm done with buying/stressing dealing with release date non-sense. I said "after I cop the "Chicagos" I'm out...unless they drop a white/cement or black/red IV with Nike Air on the heel tab. Then I'm back!"

White/Red Xll's, French Blue Xll's, and now these? Nike's coming though.

 

Going all out. Know of 3 shoes for 2016.......want them all.

And a part of me feels much better about beating the **** out of my 2012's.

 

I'm definitely in! Since thsy did the 88s i missed out, now these i won't! Maybe we'll get metallic 5s with na after 2016?

 

I just think all of this is insane, I was obsessed with Jays back in high school and bought so many pairs of shoes, in 2011 after buying the and all of the retro 13s from fall 2010 and the cool grey 11s, and WC 3s and I decided that since I'm going to college I might as well quit buying shoes because it is such an irresponsible and expensive habit to be honest. I wanted and bought everything I "liked" and thought I had to have it then. After, I got real picky and only wanted Grails. Metallic 5s, WC 4s, Bordeaux 7 and Aqua 8s have been my top fav shoes since day 1. I passed on the 5s because of the look, 7s because of the shape/look, the 4s in 2012 because of the colors and thought life was over and that ui should feel stupid for passing because of color/ shape changes. Now the Bords, Aquas, and WC are releasing again in a look more aligned with my expectations.

It just goes tot show how patience really pays off and how these shoes shouldn't have such a high sentimental value because they'll come out again over and over, and maybe once exactly how you want them to. Now I'm done with college, have more money in my pocket and can get what I want. I'm no sneakerhead, I just cop what I really like and everything I **** with just happens to be dropping at the moment

Long story but its just wild to me.

 

The NA is a big part of the equation but, also for me it's a split between that and I think that lighter shade of grey is the perfect touch.  

 

2016 is looking good. I wouldn't be surprised if they drop space jams too since it will be the 20th anniversary.

 

Sold my 2012 WC4's. So uncomfortable. 

 

Mine are just fine.

My blk/red 4's however are not TTS at all and I should've went .5 size up.  Waking up the next day after going out like I stubbed my toes lol.

 

I guess I can sell my DS 2012 pair. Hopefully I can score a pair of these.

 

Those were the worst Air Jordans I've ever purchased. And I watched Jordan play his whole career, so I'm a man of a certain age. I'm interested if the quality is better.

 

The hype is going to reach stratospheric heights.
