Potentially, but it's not your typical squeak, but a click. These insoles are super glued down though, so I've been hesitating lifting them.....

 

I've broken my pair in pretty well and haven't experienced this. What is clicking exactly? Something bouncing around? something flapping?

 

I'm not sure. Maybe the front air unit isn't fully glued down. It's odd. I've had squeaking with other shoes, but never clicking. At first I thought I had a pebble stuck in the tread; it's a sound like that, or like the shoe laces clanking on the shoe when you walk, but it's definitely coming from inside the front ball area of the foot. I've probably only worn them less than 10 times, so maybe it'll resolve itself if I wear them more...seems unlikely, but you never know.

 

For those with multiple pairs of this shoe, is there leather inconsistencies between the pairs?

 

Yes. Extreme invonsistencies , imo. Bought 4 pairs. 3 pairs were crap leather. Got rid of all of those. Leather was cut very thin, you could tell each pair had a different type of leather on them.

Got one pair that has premo butter leather. Almost looks like they were made in different factories if you ask me. My pair from Nike was the worst... My footaction pair is a keeper.

Alot more than usual. My oreos and columbias - I have multiple pairs with minor variations. Nothing very noticable. But it all depends on the release, imo. Some are better and some are worse.

 

Just compared to other pair I had(sold a fairly worn pair for a cleaner pair), the toe box leather varies from stiff to soft.

Newer pair seems better quality overall, but even then, the right foot seems softer/more creased compared to the left foot. Same applied to the worn pair.

 

If you drove in these, keep in mind that your right foot is also hitting the pedals a lot more.

Leather inconsistencies factor in, but I always consider what I do when I wear them too.

 

Both were used pairs, just haven't worn the cleaner pair. I haven't seen a 2012 pair in a while, but to me, the worn pair I had seemed to have that kind of leather on it. The newer pair has "better" leather, but as described above, just a different feel between the toe boxes.

EDIT: The fit is different as well. More roomy.

 

Had a legit check where the product code label on the left pair had the code for the Alternate 89's (https://niketalk.com/threads/legit-check-jordan-4-white-cement-2016-retro.667671/), thanks to JRepp23 with the LC. My question was has anyone else experienced anything like this before? This is my 2nd pair of white cements but have never seen a different product label on any of my shoes before. More pics attached

Yes! Mine does have the clickin on the ball of the foot. Its more noticeable waling on tile and other hard surfaces, I also thought it was a pebble on the soe but it isnt. I have broken my pair in as well, the clicking is still there, just not as much, smh! WTF is it!? haaa

 

alright, here we go. it's been nearly 2 years since these iconic pieces of art released. and, I've had them on my feet, literally, almost everyday since I picked them up. so, I thought it was time to see how well these have worn over the past 2 years. keep in mind, they are my daily wears. they've been everywhere from NY to Cali and in all types of weather. i love in Syracuse NY, and these have even shoveled the driveway with me. the worn pair is from champs. i won the raffle and picked them up on release day. the unborn pair is from a eastbay restock. these are my only double up ever and I paid retail for both. please see the side by side comparison below and let me know what u think. i love these shoes.

both size 10. I don't tie them. never have. so I'm sure the worn ones just appear bulkier because of that. I've worn the hell out of em. for real
