.....But the black Cement 3s and white cement 3s released the same year in 11 then only the white ones released in by then selves in 2013. It's not good to go by JB trends because they always change. JB is def trying to make sure it's poppin for years to come and won't release all the NA retros at the same time.
Understanding JB is like trying to solve an algebra problem by chewing bubble gum. #wearsunscreen Jb will play their hand slowly, they have an absolute gold mine with the NA releases.
Had em all, 07 were the closest to 00's but still think the comfort and quality of the 00's were the best. IMO
Not to mention the 07 had a jumpman at the heel and jordan lettering on the outsole. The 2000 retro were the closest to the OGs. Main difference was the upper durabuck as the OGs had a shiny look after a while. The shape of the 2011 and after retro V have bulky toes and no 3M anymore.
Yeah all that and the OG netting was a different materil, never yellowed. The 07's were not a bad change besides the jumpan added but even those didnt have the plush ankle area softness and overall actual comfort of the 5. The newer retros are stiff and just not what they should or used to be.
Is it bad that I don't care for these? I'm honestly not surprise At this point I rather coop the 2007 and wait for the hype on those to increase
Loved my OG 5s.. wore them until they fell apart glued them and still wore them for ball in outside back in the day..
those were beautiful as well. So comfy...I damn near slept, took the trash out, went to prom and everything in 2000 pair😂
No joke, wore them all the time, I still wear min lightly but so scared they will start crumblin so just look at them from time to time lol need to swap them so I can bring them back to rotation
The black metallic 5 is my most favorite air Jordan of all time. I remember begging my pops to get me a pair in 1990. I scooped the 2000 retro my senior year for under retail from a spot I always use to go to. I didn't get the 2007 retro because I didn't like the 23 on the side and the jumpman on the back. At that time that retro looked like a entirely new shoe to me. When the 2011 retro came out, I liked them instantly. I still didn't like the number on the side, but I was willing to overlook it because of the red jumpman on the sole and the suede material. The red jumpman was really what did it for me. I will try to get a pair of these 2016 retros when they drop.
I was always a fire red guy myself. these are straight but I never was all that crazy about them. it's something about the black base and the netting that always throws me off. I think clear netting looks much better on a white base. same with the black grapes
Special occasion with the '88 3's. They were for a commemorative event. My question still stands though, when have the WC4's released without the BC4's releasing in the same year..............................................
