Both the flight 95 and 96 from 2007-2008 were on par quality wise with the og models. Another amazing shoe that has been used and abused by nike brand. Slimmed down heels and ankle collars, fake carbon print, synthetic nubuck, no blue soles, no full length zoom. Nike really knows how to keep their older customers unsatisfied.

 

I ended up finding a pair for under retail of the Iverson color. They're pretty sick

 

Iverson pair hit the HOH by me today. Nike must've cut that check haha.

They're on the shelf already at HoH London.

No sign of the "Iverson's" in Europe yet though...

Saw the grey colorway in person today. Man they look horrible compared to the prior retro release.

I mean it's been a while since that grey colorway dropped..but I didn't think they look too bad..I never copped the grey colorway back in the day..but it looks okay from what I remember..

 

Naw man, we need some comparison pics to really see the difference. I had the first retro but they were stolen back in January of this year. I had the OGs as well, and that first retro was pretty spot on, quality and all. This 2014 retro looks horribly cheap. And the print on the carbon fiber :x . Hope I can find the first retro again.

Yeah, it's definitely the white/black carbon fiber. If it were all black, it would make all the difference. Saw em in person the other day and had the exact same thought.

Apparently no ones selling any of these.  Copping once they go on uber-sale.  Love this sneaker, although they did defile it.  That OG had a BLUE SOLE, not this clear- will-be-yellow BS.

 

Don't know how you guys feel about nightwing but he posted a review saying these have heel only zoom. No longer full length zoom

 

That sucks...I really like em but just waiting out the big discount on them..and it will come....i believe the 08 retro had full zoom. Got a pair of them in my storage so i can't confirm that right now

 

I copped the black 08s at Ross for 26.99. Best deal for full length zoom besides the BB1s I've ever seen. I dont like that they gutted the shoe AND raised the price but it's not surprising
