Those should be fakes. That one is obvious with that white "off white" looking tag attached. Some people indicate the shape is off but they usually look the same to me. The only real difference i've seen is the traction pattern of the fakes are still using the old OG pattern not the protro ones.

Someone else here said the lacing is off for fakes. The yellow tag I believe some of the asian releases come with that? But i've never had an orange tag on my OGs or Protros.


Really got to be careful when buying the 5s. Since Nike has been holding off, the china factories must have gotten their hands on the products is my guess. Plenty of really close fakes out there for all the Protro 5s even the unreleased ones.

Yep. It’s so hard to tell. Just go on Instagram there’s a lot of fake chaos and undefeated 4’s that look real.

the tag says it’s from Nike Brazil.

Traction pattern checks out to me. At least it's the Protro traction pattern which is more dense and has more grooves.

Looks good to me as far as I can see. It's the Protro traction patten at least.

The shozoku on the tongue and the achilles padding are so bad from that vid. Shozoku is too fat at the top and padding is too thin and wide in the back. Also it's got some weird striations going on in that toe box. The diamond pattern in the ankle area is too boxy and not diamond shape.

I have to admit tho that they've come a long way. Way back when, you can easily tell if the shozoku wasn't indented and flushed in the tongue. It would look like they just glued it on.
