Nike Zoom Vaporfly Elite 2017

it promotes forefoot striking, at least in my case so your take off does feel like it is front loaded hence probably uses some of the calf muscle that isn't activated in your usual runs

After my first run in a VF, my calves felt it much more than normal. Granted, I was recovering still from a rather hilly run a few days prior, so maybe that's it. But in general, do you guys find the VFs to be harder on the calves?

I actually felt it on my ankles lol

Vaporfly 4% flyknit- just got my pair and I noticed the left shoe insole was very easy to remove. The first version didn't have this issue...Shoe goo seemed to have fixed it. I'll test it out later

I still prefer the OG VF vs the FK version. Would love to test out the flyprint version but I don't think Nike will ever release them in any significant numbers.

can anyone comment if these translucent-esque uppers are water proof or water repellant?

Please enlighten me. Why glue down your insole? I’ve never heard of such a thing.
