Nike Zoom Vaporfly Elite 2017

notre had a storewide sale so it was purely coincidence but eastbay and ftl has marked down some current runners too

im guessing the stores wants to get some cash back fast and dont want to wait it out
They know the recession is coming...

half off zegamas came in last night from backcountry and got my first run in them today.

10 miles on some nice trails out in the PNW and i’m getting more into the trail scene lately, but i have no idea why these aren’t being talked about much more. super comfy, protective and felt like i was able to make lots of sharp turns without having to slow down too much into them. not your typical bouncy zoomx since it’s got the carrier foam, but honestly feels super comfy and soft still. i think if nike is able to make a V2 and actually have a good outsole for the wet conditions, i may role with these over the speedgoats going forward

Welcome to the club my man. They are stellar. Speedgoats are great too though. Tough choice for me.

Hope we get a Proto cw, white & orange

Question is will kipchoge wear a Proto tomorrow or the Alphafly 2 for Berlin

the orange 2’s are all over the place here….no way Nike misses an opportunity to show off new tech especially since he only runs (maybe) 2 times a year.…if those are the 3’s he going in those…..

Kenya’s Eliud Kipchoge breaks own world record in Berlin Marathon victory

Kenya’s Eliud Kipchoge broke his own world record, lowering the mark to 2:01:09, as he powered to victory at the Berlin Marathon on Sunday.

Shaving 30 seconds off the record he set at the same event four years ago, Kipchoge set a pace that no one could match over the entire 26.2 miles and secured his 15th career marathon win out of just 17 starts.

Ethiopia’s Andamlak Belihu and defending champion Guye Adola stayed with the 37-year-old for the first half of the race but dropped away as Kipchoge pressed on for victory and eventually crossed the finish line opposite the Brandenburg Gate alone.
