EXACTLY what I came in here to post. You don't even need to be a hippee/tree hugger/environmentalist, etc....watched it last night -- excellent, excellent movie! Everyone should see this movie ...

Very true.  Recent history people don't know much about.
I just saw it in class last. It's crazy--Most of these people turned out to be college professors, and it made me realize you never know what the ppl in your life might have been through.

Just watched it and wow. Does the documentary go into the minds of the people at all? Like are they interviewed before they jump?

damn i need to check out a bunch of these documentaries ya'll are posting... the only one I can remember seeing lately is "How to Look Like That Guy". I'd recommend it if you're into working out, go the gym, or trying to get in shape..

they themselves are not interviewed, except for one dude who survived

they just interview their families

I found The Bridge to be pretty boring. Yes, the subject matter is hard to watch, but the 5-minute summary Youtube video was more substantial to me than the documentary as a whole.

Oh, well in that case I'll pass.

Of the ones suggested that I've seen, I cosign on:
Man on Wire
Who the #$&% is Jackson Pollock?

Ones that haven't been mentioned that are good:
The King of Kong
Tyson
How to eat your Watermelon in White Company (And Enjoy It)
Infamy
Electric Purgatory
Nerdcore Rising

Ones bolded I highly suggest. All can be found on Netflix except Electric Purgatory which is under YouTube documentaries
