Geez Ive been car-less since like last July and I must say i never quite realized how good I had it when i was whippin.
Went from 08 civic coupe (purchased brand new)

totalled it 

got a jetta sold it to pay bills and such in such (thinking i'd be straight without a car)

WRONG IDEA oh my lord it's such a hassle just to complete everyday tasks 

pros: best shape of my life from walking

:not having to pay for car expenses I have saved a crap load of money for my next whip

cons:

everything else including its almost impossible to pull chicks with no car

During the summer I know I'm going to wish I had a license.
I just don't know how to drive at all and no one is willing to teach me because I'm so bad at GT ahaha.

Cons:
What used to be a 10-minute drive to my barber is now a good 30-40 minute public transportation commute.
Waiting for your boy to give you a ride to wherever you guys are going for the night.
Buying a month's worth of groceries and hauling it back home.
The feeling of freedom of just getting into your car and driving.

Pros:
No insurance or gas bills.
Better shape ; more walking.
Always having a ride to go somewhere cause my boys aren't leaving me at home. Good friends ftw.


Edit: I live in NYC so it's not as bad. The public transportation pretty much brings you anywhere you need to go.
