and i dont know how to fix it.
should i try re-installing windows media player or something?

btw: im running XP if that helps

any serious ideas? thanks in advance

need a little more help:

does the video continue playing? can you hear it still running?
or does the computer completely lock up where you can't do anything at all?

does [CTRL] + [ALT] + [DEL] bring up the task manager window after the screen has gone blank?

are you sure it's not a virus?

was it working before?

is it using flash, media player or what?

are your video drivers up to date?

have you tried using a different browser? and are your browsers up to date?

i do full virus scans weekly
it used to work n ive had this problem for at least 2 months now n have avoided trying to watch videos up to this point
i wanna say it is using media player
no, i have not tried a different browser...only firefox

Sounds weird. Just do a fresh instal with your OS Disc for a easy fix.

Did you do anything new with your computer before hand?

after 2 months I wouldn't try to fix it, I would just reinstall windows already. especially since you only have one browser and can't tell thedifference between videos played on flash or WMP.

yea i guess ill jus transfer my stuff to my external n take it to get it cleaned out. since my school takes care of any issues we have with our issued laptops
