NT: Does Senior Year count?

If your not trying to graduate with honors.............

Me, after I got into my top choice of college i just shut it down and went to school high everyday. Once you get accepted into college, you can just dowhatever. Just make shure you pass all your classes.

Don't slack off. Think about it this way, even if it isn't going to change your standing, you don't want to fall into bad habits now before youenter college.

Trust me: you'll regret slacking off.

Good way to prep for college too.

i just got a scholarship to university of washington...

i was jw how the campus was up there...if anyone went there for school.

them and Washington University (St Louis) sent me scholarships..kinda strange but yeah...

i'm just trying to weigh in on my options right about now.

oh and does taking AP calculus and AP spanish language as a junior help me get into colleges in any way?
i'm still a junior...so yeah thanks for the help!

I'm just gonna act like it matters. I've maintained a 3.6 throughout my entire HS career and in the final semester of my senior year. 1st semester Ihad a 3.8 and I'm hoping to possible graduate with a 3.8 cumulative. I do have senioritis but if you are really responsible, just set a goal to earn acertain GPA and work towards that. Slacking off will get you nowhere and you will probably need atleast some of what you learn this semester in college.

Anyways, I had two classes my senior year. AP English and AP Calculus. And to answer your question, of course it counts unless your you're done with all your graduation requirements. For me I needed to pass both classes to meet the requirements and I wanted to maintain my summa cum laude status. Besides, why wouldn't you want to maintain your gpa? Sounds like you have senioritis.

If you were a serious student at all, you would do your best to finish up strong. Or be like me and slack off once the AP exams pass by.

AP English, eh?

Anyway, I was borderline for an academic scholarship so I had to put in work my senior year. In the end I got the scholarship and graduated with honors aftertaking the honors test

The way I see it, if you are telling the truth and you are an A+ student and you've been accepted then there's nothing wrong with giving yourself somebreathing room to enjoy your senior year. Staying "fresh" academically shouldn't be an issue if you have a strong ability to learn.

Even though by my senior year I was SOOOOO ready to be out of HS.

Personally I slacked off, got a D in 1 of my classes, and all that, but my school that accepted me in October didn't revoke anything and I still kept my100% scholarship, so I guess, if ur going for a scholarship don't slack, but u can have a little more fun senior year

yes senior year is still important. you can take it easier but dont bomb your classes

Im go keep it real .... if u want to go to a university than work ur **# off.... if u want to go to Community college i say f it an juss chill
