I been out of school for a year, unemployed, still looking for my first real job. I figured many of you have connections when it comes to work, im located in New Jersey, and am open for opportunities.

Sorry i just turned this into monster.com.

If anyone is serious about the company they work with is hiring, shoot me a PM!

My degree is in Business Management, ready to send out my resume

Thanks NT

have u been applying...everyday?
ever since i graduated in may, i sent multiple resumes out to employers or i called employers if they were hiring every single day...I must have sent more than 100 resumes so far.
I received offers that i turned down because it was either a job that i was not interested in or a job that will not get me ahead in my career. I was finally selected for an interview at a clinic and I just went...now i am hoping they contact me again for a follow up (i wont be suprised if i do not get the job because it is really tough out there).

its definitely a arduous process. especially with a degree like business mgmt...its way too broad its time for you to start focusing on a specialty. i switched to IT. although i was lucky to be recruited out of college i have been blessed to have 4 full time and two part time jobs since 2007.

Look into doing temp work. I can give you the address to a great temp agency in NYC. They have specialists in every field.

Also look into using social networking. On Twitter, you can find employment as many corporations and organizations always post jobs. That's how I got my internship.

OP, also don't feel bad that you haven't found a job in your field of study. My dad works on Wall Street and since 07 half the firms that were there are now gone or have greatly downsized. Don't believe everything you see on the news regarding the economy getting better. The financial sector is still crippled from the housing crash and all the other nonsense.

no. it started out by doing work study my last semester in college for IT. then i volunteer with two organizations doing IT so that helped me get my foot in the door. but i am going to get my masters in it.
