Cap. One has always catered to the "sub-prime" type borrowers. I.E. the ones with the worst, or lease credit history. If you are everskeptical about a company, google "(company name) sucks" and you'll get the horror stories about their service to customers. I suggest doingthat w/ Cap. One and seeing for yourself if their practices might be worth it for you to use them as your first card. Like I said before, your best bet is togo with a local credit union. They will always treat you great, and their rates aren't half bad either. (they aren't half good either, but theywon't change too often).
