So I was talking with my brother about the future, and what could be the next big thing in entertainment.

Then we got to talking about the laser Tupac Coachella performance.

What if that technology advanced to the point to where there could recreate entire world events.

So we could sit in an arena, and watch a 2016 NBA Finals game in 2034.

Or we could play Presidential debates or something.

you guys get my point.

Is this the future?

i wouldnt want to pay admission too see a replay. why recreate something that we already know the outcome... then again people pay for interactive pr0n..

Just to sit in the stadium, and watch MJ do his thing, and hit that game winner against the Jazz

Just to see Mariano Rivera close that game 7 in the 2001 World Series

To see Kennedy vs Nixon

all of that sounds like stuff I would pay to be there for.

It seems very possible. What I'm more interested in is will we eventually run out of ideas or reach our limit as far as technology goes?

Why pay money to see something when you already know the outcome?

They already do that with old concerts, but sporting events and political debates? That's something where you have to be there the FIRST time it happens. There's no magic in already knowing how it ends.
