So the router I have been using for the past 5-6 years, has finally died on me (D-Link WBR-2310). Looking for something faster with better range under $100 if possible. My network consits of one cpu, 2 laptops, 2 gaming consoles (usually wired though), media center and sometimes tablets/cell phones.
What kind of router should I be looking into?

I bought this a lil while ago and I love it. I use to not be able to get a good connect with my old one when I was in my garage now its top notch!

That's the one I bought.
Had to call CS to set it up though because I had to daisy chain it from another router. Pain in the butt trying to do it myself, the dude was really helpful though

Netgear

Linksys has failed on me too many times.

However, with that said, I'm only on my first netgear router.

Right now (since I have DSL) I am using a Netgear DGN3300, but if I had another provider, in terms of cost and reliability, I still think the D-Link DIR-655 is a solid choice. I believe it uses an Atheros chipset as well.
