NT School Me on Hotel Parties

Hey NT my 21st bday is coming up and I wanted to have a lil get together and invite around 25-30 ppl to have a lil "gathering". There are several hotels that are in the area of my college campus and I was thinking of renting a suite, maybe two rooms to host this social gathering at. Has anyone ever been to one of these hotel gatherings/parties?

Growing up in Vegas, these are the norm. Do's and Don'ts

DO

Party and have fun

DON'T

Tell everybody on your facebook

Smoke out the whole place, smoke in the bathroom or bedroom and prep the vents

Play music too loud

Pour alcohol/throw stuff off the balcony

Let 6 or more people come up at once, causes suspicion

Invite more than 30 people.

It seems like this wont be a god outcome..I just spoke to my suitemates and we decided to have the "gathering" in our suite..If we get written up at least we wont waste any money towards it

Rent out a house/cottage that's close by. I don't know where you are located but you could rent out a beach house, a house at a ski resort, a house at a state park, etc. Since you're trying 21 I'm sure there might be someone under the age of 21 at your party and if the cops come YOU will be RESPONSIBLE for giving them alcohol.

I'm sure you already know but make sure the female to male ratio is right because the attitude of the females will dictate the mood of the party.

It's all about the hotel after party. That's where it goes down. Have a few more women than men, turn the lights low and watch it pop off.

PREGAME at the hotel.
Then go out to the bar, club, lounge.. get even more trashed.
bring some ladies back to ur hotel room, and maybe a few homies/wing personnel

Hotel ROOMS are not meant for parties. They're meant for sleep.

Because of this, even if you're down to party, the people around you might be down for sleep.

Even if you rent the whole floor, you could have issues with the floor below/above.

Hotel MAY have a party space. But at that point you're just renting out a restaurant/bar like you could anywhere else.

The benefit though is that you can just take a smaller party upstairs if you rent a room at the same hotel. KEY WORD-SMALLER.

Which is not a bad thing at all.

Hotel parties used to in back in high school. Like everyone is saying though, it always gets broken up. It's either TOO fun, or not fun at all. Since you're turning 21, I say a local bar is definitely a go.

Even better...

Get a room at the casino, party with your 25-30 at the bar or on the casino floor, then bring your select few back to the room.
