How is it out there in the Pacific NW?

How's the scene out there??

The people cool?

How the ladies look?

Weather?? Is it true it rains often?

What's the NikeTown talkin bout?

Never been there.

I don't know what the scenery is like, I've never been there.

The people from Portland on NT are cool, but I don't know about everyone else....'cause I've never been there.

One girl I know from Portland is like a 6, I don't know about any other girls.....'cause I've never been there.

I don't think so, but Raphael Saadiq said it never rains in Southern California. He was wrong, RATxAxTAT told me that.

I don't think they talk about much else aside from Nikes and life.

Why do you like Seattle better?
grunge alone> oregon

Don't know about the scene.
The people seem stuck up to me, but then most city folk do.
Yes, it rains a lot.
The Pacific Northwest is my favorite place in the world

edit: Seattle sucks as does the entire state of Washington, woo woo don't live there anymore

Because I live in Seattle

Plus, Seattle is the biggest city in the PNW and has a lot more things to do than Portland.

I have lived in Portland the majority of my life

Portland has:

no sales tax

great selection of micro brews

completely nude strip clubs

good food

relatively safe for a big city

and Portland's basketball team > Seattle's basketball team

oh wait they don't have one

You should probably check out the PNW regional forum here: http://niketalk.yuku.com/forums/28
Notice how there are about 4-5 topics on the first page related to Oregon and everything else is Washington.
And you can always catch a Mariners game

. I guess you could see the Blazers play in Portland...oh wait...my Rockets took care of business

$$@+ you, we'll get a team back here sooner or later. At least we have a baseball and football team.

@ being the real life dwight

Portland = city that WISHES it could be Seattle. Seriously, I went there for a weekend and hated it there. Roads are narrow as %*$%, not even diverse, eventheir downtown sucks.
smh.gif

and Portland has many outdoor activities you can do

it's also close to Mt Hood and Bachelor which are one of the best in the country for ski and snowboarding

Portland = Seattle's little brother

Pacific Northwest.... lots of cloudy days/light rain days..... but actually gets less overall rain then New York City

Its GREEN.... lots of trees everywhere.... lots of scenery... etc

Portland is a great city. The night life has finally taken off, the parks/wildlife/nature, cafes, music scene, shops... It's a really great balance therebetween city and nature. I lived there for 3 years and still visit maybe once a year if I can. Oh yeah and the greens are
