    ok i know what rucker park is and the history and whatnot... but i'm confused with one thing. can anyone just go there and play?

    i'm from canada and i wanna visit NY. can i just go on the court and play? what's the deal?

    Yes you can play, currently the nike summer ball leagues are going on there..but any other time its a public court.
