NT school me on the lemon law

bought a used car few weeks ago its an 01. so far pulley and belt has been repaired, gas gauge needs to be repaired and clunked out on me last night. policesaid maybe alternator. how does the law work?

was it sold as is?

if u bought it from a private seller, nothing u can do cuz any car sales between private-buyer is 'sold as is'. unless u got a receipt where thereswriting detailing "car runs efficiently" or "car is in working order". if not, stick a fork in yourself, you're done

if you bought it and didn't have a mechanic you can trust right there by your side to look at it, then... you lose

Not all stuff is covered by a warranty but if its just an alternator then you should be good.
