Should have explained myself better. Im saying if OP spent the next 10 years in a 3rd world country his views on god would change.As for people already living in those countries, religion is a way to have something to hold on to, to cope with the life they have.

Abiogenesis is completely unfounded, brah. RNA cannot synthesize proteins spontaneously. On top of that, proteins are formed from amino acids, and no one has been able to prove that amino acids can appear spontaneously. The experiment the narrator referred to that supposedly proved that RNA could replicate/synthesize was found to be bunk, and the results were manipulated. This is a long read, but it's worth it if you actually want to get yourself up to speed with current scientific knowledge:

There's one little secret that many scientists have decided to ignore.. there is proof for evolution, but there is NO proof for abiogenesis. Scientists are still at a loss in trying to explain how life spontaneously appeared on earth.
For those of you who put all your faith in science.. honestly, think about whether or not you really believe life just spontaneously occured on earth. The "primordial soup" theory, more or less, is saying that a bunch of amino acids were sitting in a pond somewhere, and (without a constant source of energy) over time they began to react to form structures with enough complex data to fill up the Library of Congress. If you've even taken up to General Chem I you would know this is BS.

I went to catholic school, and it made me realize how much b.s. Religion is...
If god does exist, I doubt he would want it to be like this
how many wars have been started because of "god", the dark ages, the Spanish forcing Christianity on the Americas, the fight over the holy land
in actuality no one here is certain of anything, we are just speaking on compilations of ideas we have obtained over the course of our lifetime
if I was born a Muslim, I'd be here preaching that, if I were born a Jew I'd be here preaching that. Reason why I take pride in being an athiest is because it's my own choice, and not something that was forced upon me.
