Its an 07 Maxima. The ABS module is fried and a new one costs $1200 alone. Rebuilt ones go for $300~ but they are hit or miss.

After going to two diffferent shops, and wasting $1500 on services that didn't fix the issue, I finally go to a specialist who found the issue and gave me the $2k quote.

I'm no mechanic and no way I'm installing a part that costs over a grand. I only owe 1k for the loan so I'm just going to pay it off and let the dealer adjust the trade-in value.
