Turned out to have a pretty good haul last night!

    * Sucaba - Self explanatory

    * Hubbard's Cave Imperial Stout Maple 11.40% ABV - this is a local brewery out of Chicago; I had their Coffee last night and it was pretty solid. Can't wait to try the Maple. They also have a Raspberry & Chocolate Stout along with their Coffee, Vanilla, and Maple.

    * Half Acre Antoine's Baume Rye Stout - "High levels of chocolate, roast and rye drag you above the din of winter."

    * Pipeworks: Hey, Careful Man, There's A Beverage Here! - "We aged this White Russian inspired white stout with cacao nibs, vanilla bean and cold pressed ipsento coffee." / Haven't had this yet but apparently it's a "White Russian" Beer.

    * De Struise Black Albert 13% ABV- I posted about this one earlier; was able to grab a 2nd. Gonna let this one sit for a bit but I highly suggest this if you can find it.

    * Avery: Tweak 17.81% ABV! - Can't wait to try this.

Beer excursion today.  Went to Other Half for Citra and the Barrier collab.  Got my cans, some bonus bottles, another teku glass, and an egg sandwich for the ages.  Also hit up Sand City for some growlers of their IPAs/breakfast stout.  Enjoying the fruits of my labor as we speak:

Both have exceeded my expectations and then some.  Keep an ear out for Sand City.  Word is they're gonna be canning fairly soon.  From what I've tasted, their hoppy beers could go toe-to-toe with the best of them.

    Cheers, NT!

Sand city in northport? I was back home from Atlanta and was meaning to try a few flights but didn't get the chance. Definitely will this summer when I head back.

Crazy CFord. That area is blowing up. How are they getting all these hop contracts? I know of places that have been around for ages that don't have the hops that are needed to mass produce these NE style of IPAs. It's at least a real life issue here in my state. Even the new guys are just hurting because they can't get their foot in the door. That obviously isnt happening in the NE.

Stupid La Cumbre.. They released a new version of project dank the other day featuring Enigma, Equinox, Nelson Sauvin, Vic Secret and Meridian in the dry hop.

Flavors of honey dew, berries, white grapes, and vague hints of that danker grassier onion flavor. But simply blow away. Beer budget spreadsheet is taking a major, a MAJOR hit right now. Prices on their bombers went up but I'm a sucker.

I did a Sam Adams Cabin Pack sampling earlier. I even did it blindly, and just couldnt get behind those beers. There is just a very sweet element to all of their beers. I'm used to pilsners and IPAs now that have a real dry bite to the aftertaste.

I also bought a sixer of Lagunitas Born Yesterday. It's basically 4 months old, but I was craving it, and paid $11 on the sixer (coulda bought a single @ $2.50) But what can you do?

A couple more fresh elevated ipa Four packs (which is available in the Denver Area now), some more FBS, and my weekend has been way too expensive.. Cheers yall

That's the one.  First time visiting there today.  Nice little space with some great beers.  I can see them being the next big thing in NY.

Saw La Cumbre was available here a couple weeks back...stoked to get some but just haven't dropped in a liquor store as of late.

But did stop by TRVE today to pick up our CVLT membership drop for this quarter (saison brewed with earl grey, earl grey with rose petals and Assam teas)...and their new collab with Prairie (barrel-fermented goes with Oklahoma & Colorado peaches).

Had their new Of Wolf And Fear experimental IPA (one released a month for the next eight months...really good. And had the Prairie collab too...INSANE.

Hit up Comrade too...the kings of hoppy beers in Denver. Great as usual.
