I'm curious, how much do you guys pay for a bottle of say, Heineken? Here it's about NZ$7.50 - $8.50 per bottle.

Some of you need to sit in beer 101,my cousin teaches it. Heineken and Corona = over hyped + overpriced + crap taste .both should be priced like bud/coors/miller imo

Deschutes: Black Butte Obsidian Mirror Pond at this one bar. I swear they do something to it to make it taste phenomenal. Henry Weinhards: Private Reserve Hefeweizen Belgian Style Wheat Classic Dark Blue Moon at bars Heineken at soccer games Whatever's at the party And plenty more. But those are my favorites off the top of my head.

My ultimate go to choice: Dos XX Lager green bottle A few local breweries have a OcktoberFest fear that is good -Shiner has a few decent beers. Their more known Shiner Bock is decent. But their new seasonal, Spring Ale Dortmunder has a great refreshing taste that puts their popular item to shame. Locate that one asap. -Stella isn't bad.. Shocktop has that orange taste to it. I can drink that for days. It doesnt seem fair. Fat Tire has a nice taste There's really only three types of beers I would be hesitant to try again" Anything IPA.. Darker stout beers just haven't suited me yet. Corona Extra is maybe the only beer I can single out as absolutely HATING the taste of. Everything else is pretty much worth a try. TsingTao, Bass Ale, Fat Tire. all good. I don't buy the "im a cheap college student" excuse. a lot of decent beer is just a little bit more, and it contains more alcohol per volume. So you drink less, drink a little bit better tasting beer, and in the end, maybe spend an $3 extra bucks? What cheap prices are we talking here for a 24 or 30 pack? I see people everyday buying a 12pack of budlight for $10.50. For $12, there are a variety of choices that have a bit more ABV, and it all equals out in the end. I want to add. Some of these beer ranking sites.. Take them with a grain of salt. Try everything if you can, atleast once. I have tried some ranked 100 out of 100 beers that are vial. Yet they are rated some of the best. I'm far from a beer snob. I respect beer But I will never hate on anyone for liking a certain type of beer after trying some of that high ranked stuff.
