NYCers down with the club/bar/lounge scene: PROOF?

Need to pick a venue for my upcoming birthday. Anyone ever been to Proof? It can't be a small venue (need to accommodate 25-30 people), decent drinks or an open-bar option, and someplace with a dancefloor and good music.

Proof seems to have all three.

If anyone has ever been there before, please let me know.

Don't suggest other venues, i've probably been there before. I just need to know about this particular place. Let me know!
