If you have a top for a pic it is very easy. The number one pick is Antonio Brown. Then the next three in any order or Julio Jones Odell Beckham jr. And DeAndre Hopkins. Case closed no other scenario

No love Gurley? It's depends if it's ppr on standard but he's the only RB I would take in the 1st round.

I went AB84 first overall last season. Ben missing time kind of skewed his stats but overall he cooked.

I just looked at ESPNs draft projections and is anyone really planning to take Ezekiel Elliot top 5?

I'd take him in the 8-15 range.

In a 12 or 14-team league, I would slightly consider him in the middle of the second round. In most cases I am going wide receiver wide receiver. Keep in mind that I play in Leagues with 2 running backs 3 wide receivers and the flex with a quarterback tight end defense and kicker. So wide receivers are very valuable since most of the time you are starting for them

    Josh Gordon byke :pimp:

Ultimate wild card. Could end up getting suspended again at any moment

My guess is that he will end up going somewhere in the 7th or 8th round which is a little high for me. I would consider him from the 10th round on

No way I'm taking a rookie that early that's just too much of a risk.

    My Strategy for my keeper,

So i'm in a 3 Player keeper league, Keepers are optional so if you want to keep 0,1,2 or 3 it's all up too you.

I think i'm going to keep Ajayi, D-Will and Ivory and then go WR 4 out of the first 5 rounds or at-least 3 out of the first 5. Mind you it's 2 WR 2 RB and flex. I'm going to take my chances with RB's late and play the Waiver wire all season.

You don't have any other options than D-Will? Using a keeper on someone who will only be valuable for 4 weeks isn't the best decision imo. Especially if Bell's suspension gets reduced on appeal.

Well it appears I have the 4th pick in my 12tm keeper league.

My keeper this year is ODB for a 10th round pick.

I think at the 4 spot ill snag either (Gurley, AP, or AB) if those three are gone then I guess Id go Julio.

I cant take Bell as of this moment because of the suspension, JC is still too hurt, no clue on Elliots usage, and same goes for David Johnson.

That is as of right now. Things could change so who knows.

PPR league? I'd take any of the "Big 4" of AB, Julio, ODB, Hopkins over Gurley and AP.

Its not a PPR league and I already have ODB as a keeper.

I am still undecided whether to go WR or get a top RB.

Yeah forgot to exclude ODB. I think I'd still take one of the elite WRs over Gurley and AP even in non-PPR. I'm a huge proponent of the Zero-RB drafting strategy though .

Who wants to be my coach and help me draft. I suck at studying and picking.

Got 3rd pick in 12 man draft.

Would be willing to give 10-15% to someone if I win :nerd:

Think pot will be $1500-2000 in that area

    In short:

Load up on WRs (and maybe a TE) in the first 6 or so rounds of the draft. Don't even think about taking a RB until round 5 at the earliest. Once the time comes, load up on pass catching RBs, RBs in timeshares, and backups on good offenses.

That way when the inevitable happens (guys get hurt, guys suck and lose their jobs, etc) you flourish. Not only do you NOT have the guy who just got hurt that you spent your 1st, 2nd, 3rd round pick on, but you DO have the guy who will step in to the starting role and begin putting up numbers.

Here's the original article that really shed light on the strategy a few years back. It's a great read.

Here's an article that was published by that same author last month with some up-to-date insights. (Use your web browser's "private" or "incognito" mode to read that one. Rotoviz only allows you to read one article per day unless you pay)

Also if you just Google "zero rb fantasy football" I'm sure you'll find a ton of resources.

Well I'm not losing any early round picks, 17 round draft if you have 3 keepers you'll lose the last picks in draft. I have Edelman and Eifert as options and I don't feel like waiting on guys I want guys that can play right away. I don't think Le'veon suspension will get appealed remember he got suspended last season.

Yeah if you're only losing your 17th round pick for him then that's not a bad deal. But it looks like Bell has a shot to win his appeal. It'll be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

Would you use the same strategy in an 8 man league?  I have a draft coming up and I start with the 5th pick and was thinking about going either Hopkins/Dez, then either an allen robinson or Leveon Bell with the 11th.  Would you guys go WR/WR/WR in the first three rounds knowing that teams are going to be deep as hell or mix it up.  I honestly though Hopkins/Robinson/Nelson then hopefully Reed in the fourth.  Then I would start drafting guys like Ingram, Rawls, Stewart, Forte, Langford in the later rounds.

Its a standard scoring league by the way.
