Sadly it’s looking like Joes last year even though this season he has done nothing wrong.

Well.....on the bright side, we did score 10 times after this. But we gave up 5 more to lose 13-10.

CJ being sent down to regroup.

LA started 2-6 last year. Need to win today to equal that. 1-7 would be pretty unreal.

Heyward goes 3-3 with 2 BB's, 2 steals, 2 homers, 3 RBI.
Caratini follows him getting on base all 5 times and a Homer as well.
Baez a solo shot
Rizzo a 2 run 2B
Bote a 3 run 2B

Cubs win 14-8

Pen still gives up 6 in 3 innings including a 3-run Homer to Braun and a 3-run Homer to Thames. But, Cubs score 7 in the 8th to hold them off.

Big win, but the bullpen is still horrible. Sheeesh.....let's just win this series, and hope some home cooking is the answer. I'll be at Wrigley on Monday.

Well......on the bright side, we scored 10 runs again. (5th time in 10 games)

On a bigger bright side, we threw a shutout. . Complete with 7 innings from the bullpen.

On the bad side, Lester left after two innings because of a hamstring thing. Just bein cautious, but hopefully he can get past that pretty quick.

Won the road opener with 12 runs.
Won the home opener with 10 runs.

Slowly but surely, starting to improve.

Contreras, Baez and Heyward carrying the O, Q carrying the staff.

Pen starting to solidify. Lester/Monty/CJ should be back soon.

Slow start hurts, but plenty of season left.

Kyle Hendricks was dealing today. 81 pitches total. Great Performance. only back 1.5 game now. we back on track fellas.

15-5 their last 20, best in baseball.

Rizzo a 3- run bomb today, his 4th in 5 games.
