Cubs let up last night blowing a 3-0 early lead in the 9th, but in the bottom of the 9th Bryant hit a bomb to get us within one.

Tonight he also hit a home run in the 9th, this time a walk off 3-run homer. :wow: :pimp:

And the Grand Slam in the 8th on Sunday night......

Had a buddy at the game last night, said KB threw his jersey in the stands and some guy sucker punched the dude that caught it and stole the jersey!
 
Bryant Solo homer, Rizzo 2-run homer.

You with 4 ok innings, Montgomery with a huge 5 innings saving the pen.

Strop to the IL with a hammy. :frown:
 
After a horrible loss yesterday to the Brewers, Cubs come back today with a Contreras walk off bomb in the 15th today. :pimp:

Contreras caught 15 innings of 4 hit, 1 run ball and then walks it off. :smokin

Baez damn near won it in the 13th but fell inches shy of the basket.

Tyler Chatwood 4 shutout innings in relief. :wow:
 
Lester was great for 6.2 inn

Bryant hits a huge 2 run homer late, 4-1 win, take 2 of 3 from the Brewers, suddenly the Cubs have the best record in the NL. :pimp: (everyone panicking after 10 games should be really ashamed)

Cubs haven't lost in their last 8 series. And 12 of 14 games overall. And Bryant is really, really heating up. :nerd:

Hendricks with 8 elite innings, gave up 3 hits, had 3 hits of his own. :lol:

Rizzo now 3 days of rest, hope this keeps him strong as the season goes on.

KB 3 more hits, now up to .270 :nerd:
Played 3B, 1B, LF, RF this year.
 
Well.......Cubs pen blow leads back to back nights vs the Reds. :stoneface:

Tonight they faced Scherzer.......

Offense must have been angry. :lol:

Kris Bryant with 4 hits, and 3 home runs........in the 7th, 8th, and 9th inning. :wow:

Contreras 4 hits and a 2 run shot of his own.

Almora a 2 run shot.

Schwarber a 2 run shot.

Baez a couple knocks.

Just destroyed the Nats pen. 11 runs in 3 innings.
 
Cubs lost a tough one to Strasburg, but won late in the finale to take 2 of 3 at Washington.

The umps cost us game 1 vs Philly when McCutchen was given a second chance on a check swing that should have been strike 3 in the 9th, and we went down in the 10th.

But tonight down 2-1 in the 9th
Bryant walked
Rizzo doubled
Contreras flyout (Bryant held)
Heyward IBB
Almora infield single
Baez PH single for the win. :pimp:
 
Hamels struggled early, got down 3-0 and then Rizzo hit a MAMMOTH 3-run bomb off the scoreboard in Right.

Almora later hit his first career Grand Slam and Baez added a solo Javy bomb.

Chatwood in relief. :pimp:

Bryant and Rizzo back to back in the 3rd. 4-1 in the 4th vs the Reds today.

Contreras getting today off, and possibly tomorrow too, really huge to keep him healthier this year than the end of last year.
