Heat add Kelly Olynyk not Rudy. Gay to the Spurs Heat reportedly close to trading Josh McRoberts to the Mavericks
Good assets at least, interesting team on paper Maybe Spo's up to something, maybe not. I'm interested
I really hope Pat and Spo have a plan to finesse these pieces into a big trade. If not, we're the Atlanta Hawks: a team that always makes the playoffs but never competes.
Listen to you guys...lamenting that we have no stars. Are you kidding me? Guys, this is the rebuild that was long overdue. These past few seasons since LeBron left have been Riley's finest in my opinion. He's kept us relevant while cultivating young talent. Oh and not to mention that we're steadily moving towards that "position-less basketball" that Spo is crafting. We are in great shape. If you look at the East, teams are following suit. Heck, the Bucks have a 6-9 point-forward and there's talk of Ben Simmons running the point in Philly. I think that's where Miami's headed with Bam and Winslow before him. Hyper-athletic 6-9 something's across the board, nimble stretch 4's (Kelly Olynyk), and super athletic 7-footer Hassan. There's a plan here. We just have to see it.
I won't deny it, I'm a little skeptical. But Pat Riley has earned the benefit of the doubt, and that's what I am giving him. I believe the Godfather will find a way to bring us a superstar to build around for the future before he rides off into the sunset. That will be the last part of his legacy with the Heat.
Dragic | Waiters | Winslow | JJ | WhitesideTJ | JRich | O.White | Bam | OlynykEllington | McGruder | UD | Hammons Pretty good young squad. They'll be tenacious on defense, nowhere for opponents to rest.
when i said JJ is our new UD i meant the intangibles.....that dont play with our team cause you gonna get knocked out attitude. that toughest player on the court ish.
i bet draymond aint doing that nutcheck to a dude like JJ, did you see how JJ locked up DMC in that game vs the pels towards the end. this is JJs house now
X-factor is Winslow. I know his defensive presence warrants floor-time. But dude cannot be a liability on the offensive floor. He better develop a mid-range or post game.
He's very impressive. Epitome of HEAT basketball. They're definitely gonna lock him in for a while. In other news, there's rumors of TJ being traded, and a D-Wade reunion.
idk man i think he can make a name for himself off defense alone like a tony allen. It would be nice for him to develop like at least semi-consistent 3 ball just to keep defenses honest but hell if guys like shumpert still have a place in this league im sure a younger player with at this point more potential will be fine. And by all accounts he isnt headache off the court. I definitely think u keep him around, everybody else though is up for grabs including waiters, maybe excluding hassan just because solid big men are rare but because of the style of play these days u not gonna get the expected value for him which should be a star wing
Yoooo! If Pat can make a deal to land Kyrie and keep Whiteside and James Johnson this team could be really exciting! I say trade anyone to land Kyrie except Whiteside and James Johnson.
