What happened to "best practice of the summer" and "the team is at awe and energized"?
Dwight, Wall and Jimmy in the same locker room? Traveling on the same plane? For roughly 6-7 months?
Grunfeld would have to be considered as an accessory to whatever crimes transpire during that time.
Javaris/ Gilbert 2.0
They would never...
If the Hawks and Hornets had Dwight acting sensitive he definitely couldn't be a locker room with Wall AND Jimmy.
Lol KAT charmin soft.
The Wizards are already in the luxury tax i’d be shocked if they traded for Butler and added on to it.
Gotta keep one.... Don't know what you have in Troy Brown yet. Porter, Brown and a pick(s). That might be a bit much though given the situation. I actually kinda like Jimmy in Washington. His personality might be the bridge between Wall and Beal
They'd basically be swapping Otto's max for a higher one. Gotta pay to play though.
I’m probably way off base but I assumed the drafting of Brown had something to do with Oubre?
And I think Brown + picks is a little excessive lol. Probably Porter + Brown or picks.
Silver def cashing out in the WCF
The problem with the Heat is that while J Rich + a FRP is good... the salary filler is an issue. Almost everyone on that team besides Richardson, Bam, and Ellington ( Winslow is about to be extended), is on a horrible contract.
Unless they could get rid of Mahimi they would be in the repeaters tax for the forseable future. Meaning they would be looking at 100M’s worth of just luxury tax.
I don’t think the Wizards would resign Jimmy if they traded for him.
Random, but if you swapped Otto for Wiggins on the current Timberwolves team, they'd be much better.
I read that Thibs wanted to trade Wiggins instead of LaVine for Jimmy and could’ve done so without including the 7th pick...
But Glen Taylor shot it down...
Minnesota goofed on not letting the market set Wiggins contract.
Should’ve let him hit RFA and matched whatever he got.
That struggle 23 ppg was the finesse of all finesses
Next 5 years went to chit the moment they signed that
Yup. For KAT, it completely makes sense to give him the extension. For Wiggins, nah.
If an Otto situation comes up and you have to max him after someone gives him an offer sheet, so be it.
Glen Taylor knew it was dumb because he made Wiggins promise that he would get better. Wtf
Wiggins face after he promises Taylor and knew he wasn't going to work to get better.
Olynyk/Dragic might be better than any contract Wolves could hope to come by and Dragic/Whiteside the best talent. Only bad contract I feel like can be called so(For being 5-7 mil too many) is Whiteside and TJ. TJ's remainder is terrible but he was 12 mil on aggregate.
Rodney McGruder and Derrick Jones Jr are also great role players whom I'd hesitant to put on the table, seeing Wolves options. Highest I would go is Rich+Olynyk
I hope he winds up in Houston or DC.
Waiters is a bad contract too but I agree with all of this.
How are Laker fans dealing with the fact that LeBron is bigger than their franchise? I'm legit curious. If some of you could opine on this I'd appreciate it.
