OFFICIAL 2019 COLLEGE FOOTBALL OFFSEASON THREAD

Crazy how we consistently produce NFL talent yet consistently disappoint on the field.
Coaching is a big thing. We also don't consistently have first day draft picks, which they pointed out. Recently we've had mostly day 3 picks, which definitely increases variance in performance.

No. Big Ed needs to stay at LSU forever.

The second he leaves, Woodward's coming after Jimbo.

Also nako xl nako xl ... Looking like EJ got the 'resign or get fired' treatment at 247. Big rumors he's about to team up with A&M 247 cast off Taylor Hamm and start their own thing.

What's the reasoning? For being a glorified UT bag man?

When all the Bru McCoy and Kinsbury shenanigans were going down the Pac12 247 guys were critical of "certain Texas writers" they were accusing of being unprofessional and a go between for the school and signed recruits. One even straight up called it tampering, but called Bru complicit: Bru signed with SC in mid-December but kept meeting with and speaking to Texas. It got out that Texas was tampering and EJ went on a campaign to discredit what Pac12 247 guys were reporting.

It’s kinda awkward.

EJ says he resigned because he wasn’t happy. His wife is going to school in the Midwest and he told Burton he wanted to pursue another opportunity with another publishing group.

Nobody has really said much other than that.

Who’s taking over the 247 site? Chip Brown still writes for them/CBS right?

 Dudes like him are gonna go scorched Earth to try and shave years off their time.

Hearing it was between 2010-2014 for Michigan aka the Hoke years... Dying to know who they paid on those teams... Northwestern tho??? That degree alone carries heavy weight
