his parents really didnt have a choice here. They couldnt take a chance and wait for USC to try and open up a spot for him.

They’re not pleased but they don’t really have much say. He’s 18+ and a transfer who has his heart set — again . Oregon doesn’t have space for him right now either. He gives them 87 scholarships meaning two current kids gotta go.

Hes not going to start for them though and may not be top 4 on the depth chart.

Clay is just "classy" and thats why Chris is ending up at Oregon. Oregon doesnt have a scholarship available BUT is asking a kid to take a LSD Mission. They originally did not want him to take it but now its convenient.

USC didnt want to make a promise even though they could have made it happen, but not within Steele's time line.

    **** Clay

SC’s gonna reclassify JT to open up an initial counter either way. They were already working on it to fit in Taj Griffin if he decided to come. And the NCAA is gonna have to figure out what to do with these freshmen transferring and them counting against the teams they’re leaving.

College Coach Showcase is today. Should be about 80 colleges in attendance watching the team practice and go through drills. And then followed with a BBQ.
Big day for the nephew. Every Ivy league and a couple of others that have offered him will be there so he's a little anxious.

I for sure will be lurking and taking pics. Heading down soon to pick his Dad up and going to a bar close to campus to get a little juice. This day sets up the summer!

i do know 2 big national recruits at running back is supposed to transfer to Mater Dei in the summer, and I'm hoping he's not one of them! I think he soured on MD because he moved on from USC so there was no reason for him to transfer down here to be closer to USC.

Would be shocking if you guys didn't do something. That o-line is something serious and should have a stud running back.

Just another day at Bosco's showcase yesterday. Nothing too different. 50+ colleges in attendance, which was lower than expected. Nephew did great and got a lot of love. Got a couple of offers but ASU, Louisville, Utah, Boise, Stanford, Vandy, Northwestern all hit him up and wanted to speak to him today. Opened up some more doors for the kid. He's pumped. Makes me happy. And he got a huge compliment from Keith Miller, who runs the Hall of Fame World Bowl. We'll see if our nephew really is set on Ivy League over playing in a Power 5 conference. Steele in attendance again. He can't stay away from Bosco. Very happy with going to Oregon though.

Eveyone knows about the high-end talent @boscofootball. Elite prospects galore. Better skill talent then 75% of the @pac12. Less ballyhooed ballers I really like: 1. WR McDuffie 2. CB Beasley 3. OG Bednar 4. CB Alford 5. CB Kendle *Incoming 9th grade class is INSANE
