I like the Hicks deal. Cheap and tradeable if need be.

That’s probably why it’s so long to keep the AAV down. I’m assuming the idea is to eventually move him to LF for Florial in CF.

I like this deal. 10 a year isn’t bad. He seems like he’s figured things out. Just hope he can stay healthy. Need Frazier to stay healthy too. I think he can be a huge player for us.

Hicks for the next 7 years into his 36 yr old season, sounds like it’s waaaaay tooooooo many years. Maybe 4 but 7 is ridiculous for Hicks and everyone know it.

If he turns into trash after year 4-5 you trade him. It's not a big money contract.
