Yes 270's were very popular in Sweden too but more amongst people aged 20+. At least I didn't see them often on kids. But my observation was the same for NMD's, they were extremely popular one season then went away as quickly as the 270's. I can't really argue about Adidas because I don't follow Adidas much but looking at StockX I see that some NMD's have very high bids.

I think you are underplaying the impact of the NMDs. This silhouette had a GREAT 2 years run and was still relevant 2 years after it's peak.
They had collabs with brands and notable people that indeed made some CW very valuable to this day.
270's are pretty much a one summer shoe. I currently live between Portugal and France and in both cases a decent pair of NMD's is still potable while 270s are literally dead and buried.
Also remember that NMD and UB were at the very root of the Boost craze. These were the 2 silhouettes that propelled this tech forward.
What kind of tech did Nike really developped lately? One that will be remembered and used for years to come? Vapormax are Air Maxes on steroids. Same thing. React foam is foam. Whatever. Zoom has been here forever but isn't memorable and has only be appearing in lifestyle shoes recently.
Strangely, Nike has been leading the way in performance IMO. Them AlphaFly's are indeed revolutionary but remain into the realm of performance.

The insole was a dead give away since the HOA pairs had all the Air Max models on it. Lol! Still looking for a pair to replace my 2003 pair. I dare not open the box like Schrodinger's cat. Can't bear to know whether the midsole crumbled or not.im not stupid you cant fool me with that ish lol
