The Mets did not sign first-round selection Kumar Rocker before Sunday's deadline and will now receive the 11th overall pick in the 2022 draft as compensation.

I also thought Bryant was a better fit.

If the Mets medical staff were not comfortable with what they saw on Kumars physical, I'll trust them.

I am relieved that Alderson and Scott are not interested in giving up our top tier prospects for players like Berrios, etc

I am not mad. Just disappointed. I am a fan of Kumar tho. I assume the Mets won't hesitate to make a deal if Kumar just needed TJS. (JT Ginn) It seems that Kumar's shoulder might be toast (that is not a good sign if it's true)

This offseason will be very busy for us as there are alot of questions. So many free agents on this roster.

Id love to keep Stroman and baez but we probably cant afford them both when you consider confortos free agency, Thor and Canos salary coming back for the 2022 season.

I don’t know what kind of contract Conforto is expecting. They might let him walk.
