All I know is, if I'd had my way we'd be out there with Elton Brand right now and Jannero Pargo at the backup point spot instead of a bench-bound DeeBrown and Juan Dixon.

It's getting ugly. If they don't win at least one by next week, with the home and away with Miami coming up, they'd better start looking forcoaches not named Avery Johnson.

I say bring in Kareem Abdul Jabbar. He led the Oklahoma Storm to a chip in the USBL in his first year, yet inexplicably hasn't received a shot since.Watch, Jud Buechler will become an NBA coach, GM, or television analyst before the NBA's leading scorer.... that's America for you.

Maybe we can fake Lance Stephenson's birth certificate and get him in with a lottery pick, cause that's where we're headed.

I thought this Culture was supposed to end when Ernie Grunfield came aboard??? Heck.. Mike could have done this and kept a buzz going. .. I would venture tosay Wes Unseld could have kept this mediocrity up and SAVED Abe millions....

I can't speak enough on how this will go on until Abe goes to a better place in heaven OR Sells the team and you have an owner who is willing to do stuffto shake it up. I'd become an INSTANT Fan if Mark Cuban Bought the team....

He's automatically inject a buzz and Marketing Tactics as well as build a locker room the players would want to be in.

Did you guys know EVERYTIME a Coach or GM comes on they are given the green light to change the Players locker room. MJ came and made it so comfortable inthere, you'd WANT to sleep in your locker. Eddie sort of cut back on the frills and bored it up a little..but it is all a far cry from anyone before thatwho wanted almost nothing but a 2 x 2 locker and a uncomfortable chair to chill in.

Mark Cuban's got Game Consoles and TVs in each locker.. its those little things that impress the players into coming to the team.

Its DC for goodness sake.. Why WOULDN"T a player in the League want to play here...? Women.. Clubs.. Nice homes and Plenty O pink toes to boot...

    Its the Management people...

At least with The Danny.. he will wine and dine you and give you what you want...

Abe will put you up in the worst Hotels possible on the road... Who wants to look forward to that?

And now we're gonna be handcuffed financially going into a DEEP FA class in both 09' and more specifically, 2010. Who are we kidding? This team wasnever going anywhere. We just stay treading water. We don't go under, and we never get out on to the boat. It pains me when you see teams like Atlanta,Orlando, Toronto, Philly, etc all showing MUCH brighter futures than the Wizards.

Because we opted to re-sign both Antawn and Gil, we have strapped ourselves financially for the next couple of seasons. Even if a reasonable trade offer comesin for Jamison, I would have a real hard time believing that Abe...yes Abe, would approve it. Jamison's big contract COULD have been off the books, but wesaw it in the teams best interest to resign a 32 year old forward to a 40+ million dollar deal. I love Jamison's leadership, but we would have been betterserved had we let his contract expire. Don't even get me started on the utter stupidity in re-signing Gil. You just don't give a max deal to a mancoming off of (now) THREE major knee surgeries. As a matter of fact, I'd be shocked if he even played at all this season.

I'm convinced that this franchise doesn't care about winning championships. We are the only "mom n' pop" run organization in all of theNBA. The "Big 3" should have been broken up last season. Ernie Grunfeld should have re-evaluated just about every player on the roster and had adifferent approach on how the next 2-4 years should have been mapped out. Just to think that we could have had a COMPLETELY different looking team with a %%%%load of money going into 2010 is frustrating. If we let contracts expire, you could say goodbye to Thomas, Daniels, Arenas, and Jamison. We could have put cashinto our REAL star, Caron Butler and built a "new" team around him.

I'm just pissed because it seems like we have no plan other than trying to keep "continuity." Maybe if we keep our big 3 together until they areall in their 40's, we will have another 1st round playoff win. What can you do as a fan? I'm done supporting this team by going to games until thereare some changes made. I'm not spending my money to see a ##!+*# product with no real future. I'll support the team from the comfort of my own house.Well, I hope that they can prove me wrong, and some drastic moves are made. I have my doubts tho...

as a fan of the Wiz, it is disappointing that they have started off so poorly. but the season is still young. we gotta stick with the team and believe thatthey will turn it around...i see everyone wants to bash the whole gilbert re-signing saga. but i look at it like this, who else would they have gotten toreplace him? if the wiz wouldnt have re-upped with gil, everyone would have said, "there they go again, letting a talented player go to anotherteam!"... so the wiz did what they had to do. as for jamison, i dont think they shouldve broke him off with all that bread, but it aint nothin much theycan do about it now. i think they need to package blatche and/or jamison and see if they can get a steal like when they robbed the lakers for caron butler

Well looks like there is hope for a Championship after all..

    Right?

I wonder if anyone asked Eddie J or Abe P.. if they thought this team could go to the Finals.. would they answer honestly..

Hell I wonder what Ernie G would say...

^^^ they better say they think they can make it... especially grunfeld, he put this team together... glad to see they got a win last night... and that mcgeekid might be a steal. but its still early, and he still has a lot of learning to do out there!

and the wiz need to hire a team barber because the hairdos throughout the team are horrible!!!
