The 10s look dope, remind me a lot of the early ones. Definitely getting a pair or 2
Hopefully they retro these
Boost and some primeknit material would make these BANANAS
Idk what yall are smoking, they look terrible lol
its a nostalgia thing for me. I'm all in for the black pair.
I’m not feeling the 10 at all!!
8s and 9s on disco?
Adidas Referee shoes.
His line must be near its end.
Like D Howards shoe
maybe his contract with adidas?
These are the Rose 1.5(.5)
I hope the box says that
his contract... never forget... looks like he is about to get paid much more for being a starter in the asg this year so we'll see...
The deal called for annual retainers of $12 million per season from 2012–13 until ’16–17. (This season, he is entitled to $11 million.) It also included annual royalties of up to $6.25 million per year, as much as $4.8 million in annual appearance fees and use of a private plane. (For comparison, SI has learned that John Wall's new Adidas deal calls for him to be a paid a base salary of $4 million). Reggie Rose, Derrick’s older brother, is paid between $250,000 and $300,000 annually as a consultant. Randall Hampton, Rose’s best friend since sixth grade and his assistant, is paid between $50,000 and $75,000 annually for “consulting” services. Adidas also pledged to contribute $150,000 annually to the AAU team of Rose’s choice.
Like most endorsement contracts, Rose’s calls for reductions and pro-rations. In this case, if Rose fails to make the All-Star team (as he has every year since 2012) or misses more than half the 82 regular-season games (as he did in ’12–13 and ’13–14 and is on pace to do this season), he can be docked pay. But unlike most contracts, Rose’s has clauses nullifying said deductions if he makes various promotional appearances.
What’s more, in 2015, Rose—as well as Hampton—was accused of rape by a former girlfriend. (He was never criminally charged.) Though Rose was cleared by a jury in a civil suit, Adidas conceivably could have invoked the morals clause and asserted that the allegations had, as his contract states, “a material adverse effect against the reputation of Adidas.” Yet the company chose not to.
Adidas’s treatment of Rose is especially perplexing given how closely the company has held other players to the letter of their contracts. On Jan. 18, 2016, Celtics guard Terry Rozier signed a deal that, according to documents provided to SI, guaranteed him $300,000 over three seasons.
During the 2017 Eastern Conference finals, Rozier wore Nikes during a pregame shootaround. He changed into Adidas shoes for the game, but his public appearance in a rival brand did not escape notice. In a letter delivered by FedEx last May 26, Adidas’s legal counsel Monique Hawthorne notified Rozier, “Adidas is terminating your Agreement effective immediately.”
his contracted til 2025 and can only terminate it early if he retires (hence why it was asked when he was in full on depression with the knicks)
The deal goes from Oct. 1, 2011 to Sept. 30, 2025.
Terry rozier is a idiot.
That is all.
probably for the best, pumas probably paying him more now
he earned whatever he is getting paid in the new 5year deal in the playoffs but now Kyrie would have to get hurt again to show what he can do or be traded
Damn missed the random release. My size sold out but there are larger sizes available. ADC better get them
wait did these really sell out everywhere?
i can't find them not even on ebay
I wonder how many FTL/Eastbay were given? I saw them and scooped me a pair about a day and a half after they dropped with the 20% off code and I saw a ton of sizes close to mine disappearing. Getting my pair in next week sometime.
Wore these the other day. Still hoping for the retros to drop here.
There's an 9.5 that added to cart if that's your size
missed it smh
I was at a adidas store in the union district in San Francisco and was hoping these would be there....no suck luck
They're in China. We won't see them probably for couple months, maybe close to pre-season lol. Does SF adidas store even get Rose shoes? Most likely just ADC getting them.
Btw size 11 in Rose 1.5 Retro on FTL.
Really wish those 10's had boost. I know it's unlikely, but hoping they make a pair with boost. Seems like it would be simple enough to do.
that store is decent for originals/lifestyle, but trash for performance basketball. they're the only non-outlet adidas store in the bay area and they don't get most colorways of their own athlete's sigs smh
