I think they are releasing. That’s a new pair, Lebron is getting the Lava inspired pair. It makes perfect sense.

No grey eyelets. Similar materials though and the lava on the swoosh matches the rest of the pattern. The 2008 had a bright lava swoosh and darker pattern. The 2014 pair was a muted lava all around and the 2008 and 2014 pairs didn’t have the pinhole type material.

One of the biggest tell-tale signs of the '14 lava is the shiny coating over the lava hits on the sides...
Although it is hard to tell, the pair in that new pic doesn't appear to have that shiny glaze.

Those look like 2014’s. Only other time I remember him seeing him wear a lava retro pair was the Lavaza commercial.

They are definitely 2019’s or a sample pair. The original medicine balls released today after the the Lebron pair released. With the upcoming Agassi inspired Lebron pair set to release this makes sense that the lavas would too now that he posted it.
