yea you do.....i hate lacing shoes period
really, is it good good cost of living in tn?
i guess its similar to the people whos fav thing to do is smell the shoe right out of the box. like its the thing they look forward to when they open up a new pair lol
lotta people hate cleaning. but for some its therepeutic. same as that.
I do set time aside to switch all my laces around when the time comes lol something weirdly meditative about it when you have 20+ air Jordan 1s. I love collecting laces, got an old air max zero box that holds all my laces from a bunch of shoes throughout the years.
It's not bad but the minimum wage here is 7.25-7.50 so if you got a job making 13-18 an hr and working full time you've got it made if you're single with no kids and not living beyond your means. I know one of my friends is in a 2 bedroom apartment woth her mom and daughter and the rent is 600.
naw i actually like cleaning them, especially with my meguiar's wipes; that lacing is just time consuming; especially if i don't even keep the laces swapped
weirdly meditative is the best choice of words so far. maybe weirdly therepeutic? def a good feeling tho, lacing up a pair of fresh ones for the first time all nice n neat.
Definitely therapeutic especially when you throw them on and look down at them. The instep of 1s is so beautifully done and sleek.
naw i meant cleaning in general, not just sneakers. theres people out there who get their inner peace from cleaning around the house etc
as for cleaning kicks, i think i feel about that the same way u feel about lacing. i do not look forward to cleaning kicks at the end of the week. i mean i force myself to do it, but def do not enjoy it lol
but i cant judge, cause everybody has their own thing.
ill lace all ya kicks if u clean all mines, deal?
yes sir.... for myself I will always use the same color laces on what color the tongue is on the shoe again that's just me
word to big bird...... i like 95 percent OF NT.... THE OTHER 5 PERCENT ARE JUST PEOPLE WHO SIR THE POT
NOT A fan of cleaning up my kicks myself.. i do it anyway i will also clean the bottom of my kicks also
Repped because uou have the skull and flower D&S shorts
I personally never really clean my 1s they have to get quite dirty for me to get to that point. For the most part I like letting the wear, tear, and dirt accumulate for a while then when it's time to clean they give off a nice natural aged/vintagized look. I wear my 1s like i didnt pay 160-2k to have em lol
Just sold my lightly worn 9.5
Every head has to have one of these..
2016 was arguably the best year for the remaster releases. The hype hadnt fully caught on yet and JB was moneyshotting colorways. Every release was an "in" for me.
Does anyone own both pair of the "Gucci" Jordan 1's? they came out in both 2008 & then 2013. I have the 08 pair which became one of my favorite jays ever, great leather along with amazing comfort. However the 2013 pair from memory seemed to be a bit off in terms of quality.
for those who do own both, is their really a big difference in quality or was i just imagining
Info on camo laces.
A random ebay purchase. Got a pack of about different 6 colours from a Chinese vendor.
Man I hate lacing them cause I need all the laces to stay flat. But them things feel like turning all the time.
yea i figured out a solution to that a while ago. when you lace em through each hole, hold em flat and the right way between 2 fingers. now just run the lace through your fingers (while pinching down so they remain flat) into the lacehole all the way through. if ya dont hold the lace flat between ya fingers and just put it through the lacehole without, theyll twist.
This would drive *me nuts.
I keep all of my laces tied and wrapped together in their lace bag or in a bigger zip lock bag for laces that don't have bags like SBs.
I do have one box that's sorted.. I keep meaning to organise these, but sometimes good ideas come from chaos..
