Damn...those aren’t cheap.

I mean, when you consider how much most of us spend on shoes–even taking just the '18 Shadows as an example which are going for damn near $600 now–it's a pretty small expense for an item that can be used to improve the comfort of any shoe and probably last a lifetime.

I got the electro orange 1s thinking they would grow on me but I couldn't get passed the white.. first time I ever got a shoe custom painted but it was def worth it on this pair in my opinion

There's a trick where you put a bag in the shoe then fill it up with water then put the shoe in the freezer and when it freezes it will expand hopefully creating more room in the shoe for you..worth a shot

Can you imagine the carnage of finding someone's shoe in your freezer

They have these on Amazon for 20 bux, just search shoe stretcher. They do work but from my experience you gotta let it sit for days or weeks, and the difference might not be huge. Plus it’ll look like your shoe is warped temporarily if you’re ok with that. I’d just go half a size up

I tried the freezer trick back in college with some 2001 Royals, I used our fridge in the garage and bagged it up extra so no one saw it , even then it barely made a difference. Shoes are more durable than you think

That’s because the patent leather is a supposed to stay that way. When you remove the layer it looks odd IMO. Plus, isn’t the stitching different because of the different cut?

I heard the SBB 3.0 didn't age well once the patent was removed, i'm assuming the same on these. I still have my 2016s in great condition tho, so it doesn't really matter.
