I haven’t been paying too close to the release but Nightwing definitely sheds light on why the shoe is the way it is. Same AJ 1 Fragment mold. The interest is in the story, packaging and if you’re desperate for Black Toes.

Still puzzles me why the Midnight Navy's didnt come with white laces considering how much better it makes the sneakers look. I think its because that navy is so dark so the white laces make the sneaker pop more.

The pandemic really screwed up supply lines. It's incredibly common for shoes to be selling under retail for up to a month before they officially release.

Not saying the shoetubers can't have reps but I doubt it. Nightwing always shouts out his local spot / connect Phenom and I doubt they are dealing in reps.

Nike is likely seeding a lot of this stuff to bigger shoetubers anyway. It helps build hype/ anticipation.
