But even still, the leather isn’t as great as the 2011 banned 1 leather was. Those broke the mold for leather quality on a air Jordan 1.

This! The leather was probably the second best leather ive ever felt on a Nike shoe (a tiny notch below the Air Yeezy 1). If I ever find another decently price Banned 1, im pulling the trigger with no questions asked.

2009 Shadows black leather was the same as the black leather on the Banned 1. But the grey was a short haired tumbled nubuck. It was good but i would have preferred plain leather instead.
