It doesn't have to be an OG colorway to look good. There are plenty of Retro+ that look better. It's not that it's even a bad colorway... it's just extremely meh and doesn't warrant the hype that it gets simply due to how limited they were. If they had released a few years ago in the same quantity as the average J1 it would have went on sale and then to outlets so many other pairs of 1s did, which still doesn't make it bad. Just another pair of shoes that isn't turning many heads here, let alone on the street.

I agree! Out of the box, these are super comfortable with that soft leather.

Wore my Shadows yesterday. They felt so flimsy after wearing ‘85s only for the past month or so. The leather is one of the best of the High OGs at least.

Man never thought id see the day NT would hate the NGs as much as they do lol. Personally I love the extra sleek look of them. Sure the toe is a little off but it's nowhere near as exaggerated as some of y'all are making it out to be.

The toebox is bulky but saying the NG’s are wack or a weak cw is NUTS!!!

Who got neutral grays & don’t want em again I still need a sz12 but don’t wanna fork over a nik for em if I can avoid it.
