I assumed that it was on break last week because of the Academy Awards but I saw that it would be back this week?

Ep went by quick. I can see why you might thought it was weak.

    Axe's sons are ***** boys.

Wow @ finding a traitor among his workers though. Wonder when Axe will find out and how he makes it work for himself.

That final scene embodies everything I believe a father should be to their kids. Great episode.

I felt he spoiled them. The mom was right.

Those boys are gonna grow up not valuing hard work and be a bunch of rich trust fund baby pricks.

Strange that Axe would spoil his kids like that, given his rags-to-riches background.

Maybe he'll do anything to make sure his kids don't go through what he went through.

Don't forget that whole issue sparked from them not saying anything when the father was drinking and driving. They said they didn't say anything because he was an adult and she was worried that they wouldn't be able to take care of themselves. But what happened when they were at the camping trip? One kid got his phone taken, and the other had the good sense to deny having one in case it was needed. Then they dipped on the camp counselor despite him calling them back. So essentially they proved that they were capable of doing all the things their mom was worried that they couldn't. And Axe even drives my point home in the car, "it was smart keeping that phone on you."

    Those kids will be fine.

I forget Axe's story, but didn't he come from a poor background?

I imagine he doesn't want his kids to experience what he did growing up.

    What?

Sorry bruh, I don't agree at all. What sparked this really stopped mattering when you get to what she was talking about hard work and being street smart. None of which they displayed in this ep at all. He just hid his phone after watching his bro get his taken. They could've shown something if they figured a way to get the phone back before they dipped.

I don't see how ignoring the counselor when he called them is the same as just hopping in a car with a drunk driver and not saying anything.

At best these kids showed they're good at finding way to get bailed out of doing things not being street smart.
Yeah. From what they said an ep or two ago, Axe and his wife came from nothing. He hints at that with the story working at the golf club. Also the whole idea that Axe knows he came from nothing and might just expect he'll go back to nothing so he has nothing to lose.

I get sparing your children somethings but that's just why we have so many douchey adults who are the children of rich ppl. In the long run it really doesn't do them any good. Wanting your children to never experience struggle or never want for anything cuz they have it all lacks forethought when they become adults. They'll just be spoiled, entitled, and ungrateful.

That guy Axe outed who was CEO of his dad's twinkie (or w/e that snack was) company is a good example of that.

Show has gotten worse since episode 3. It's a shame, because it started off strong and now struggles to even be average at best.

There's no doubt in mind HBO would've made a better show.

I was watching this whole ep like damn, Axe finally taking some Ls and about to take a huge a L soon if he doesn't find a way out of it.

Come to find out he orchestrated the whole double agent (that's really a triple agent) this entire time :smokin Son really is playing chess while the rest play connect 4. Pretty ****** up that he had to fire dude who aint turn on him.

That 9/11 L was big though. His rep is tainted in the public now. Too bad cuz it seems he was being honest about his decisions. In that game you gotta move fast and make decisions quickly so of course he didn't know it was a terrorist attack and profited off of it. Crazy that that's how he really made his fortune with almost getting fired.

Rhoades manipulating his deputy like a puppet was funny  Son is such a dumbass he brings up what if the uniforms were prisoner labor made by Jews :smh: Like how don't you get the ******* metaphor he's trying to establish and then you get on some sem-antisemitic nonsense

Best part about this ep was Rhoades revealing some things about why he's holding this grudge and being real with himself. It was was there before to think about but they put it front and center that he is jealous that Axe and his wife have a connection deeper than love and apparently she knew him before Rhoades married her.

That he realizes he's the "haberdasher" and really just a ******* hypocrite that he's willing to indirectly have his wife lose her job and kids not afford school just so he can take down Axe cuz he has something with his wife he'll never have with her most likely kinky S&M **** and all.

I did just wasn't prompt with my post

Gotta disagree. Definitely don't see any dip in quality from ep 1-3 to ep 4.

The show is rich with character development as the plot progresses and thickens.

It's funny you bring up HBO though and implying they could do better. Cuz I just got finished watching Vinyl and couldn't help but think this is like a show Showtime would air 7 years ago.

This show has gotten better and better each episode IMO. I find it funny yet sad how the guy Axe fired was going to be fired either way. He was a pawn in the game. 😂😂😂😂

Yeah it paints a different light on the entire ep and past 2 eps if Axe had Donnie do this from the get go.

The whole thing with his spy guy having the janitor as a contact was useless info cuz Axe planted Donnie as their informant. Same with the erasing of the hard drives and having the IT guy check it and Donnie being a part of the 3 that did it. Axe is just making sure these guys are doing their jobs as he builds this larger web to screw over the attorney general.

 Still not as bad as how Frank Underwood became president. No real obstacles, just ppl to kill and careers to destroy.

Axe at least took that huge hit with the 9/11 stuff. Had no ways to stop or convince that reporter.
